AOC : appellation Grand cru
Citites : Aloxe-Corton, Ladoix-Serrigny et Pernand-Vergelesses
The name GRAND CRU must appear immediately under the name of each of these designations on the label.
Dress : pale gold and decorated with green reflections, it takes with age shades of amber and yellow.
Taste : Cooked apple, citrus, pineapple, lime, fern and cinnamon. Smooth notes are common.
Corton-Charlemagne has a remarkable acidity, perfectly controlled, which is why it must be combined with noble and delicate dishes. Like foie gras, noble crustaceans: lobster, lobster, crab... Poultry and veal in white sauce will match perfectly, as will blue cheeses.
The operating temperature is 12 to 14°C.
