Cities : Vosne-Romanée et Flagey-Échezeaux.
Dress : varies from pure ruby to black tulip.
Taste : mix of red and black fruits, strawberries and raspberries, blueberries and blackcurrants. This blend of aromas evolves with age towards cherry, leather and fur.
In mouth : velvet and distinction. In his youth, he may seem austere. He must develop his structure and fat in a bottle.
This fleshy and spicy wine, prefers strong meats, which it can tame and wrap. Roasted poultry, lamb in the oven are its preferences.
Thanks to its robust character, it can be combined with cheeses with intense flavours such as Epoisses, Langres, Saint-Florentin or Cîteaux.
The ideal operating temperature is 14 to 16°C.
